I want to select pictures from the Photo CD... : |

You can view the photo's from the Photo cd without copying it
to your hard drive. To do this place the Photo cd into your cd rom
drive and start the WinSIS-X program, select Extras, Options |
|
|
Put the Photo cd into your cd rom drive
Start the German Shepherd Dog Information System (WinSIS-X)
Choose Extras, Options and you should see this page.... |

Type in the
path for your cd rom drive (which is usually D:) in the External
Picture Path |
|
|
It will look
like this D:\Programs\WinSIS-X\Bilder |
|
Click on Save
and you are now ready to view the photo's whilst using the WinSIS-X database. |

Remember to
place the Photo cd into your cd rom drive each time you wish to view
the Photo cd. |

If you now call up the record of e.g. Bernd vom Lierberg, you will
notice that the Radio button next to the word Picture is now white
and not grey. |
|
This means that the program has found the picture of Bernd. Click on
the word Picture |
|
|
 |
and you should now be able to see the picture of Bernd... |
